You Better Watch Out: Create Your Own Actions Animation (unedited)

I wasn't in school when everyone was adding beginnings and credits as a result of an illness. However, the animation itself is done, so I wanted to get it submitted before the due date to show I'm not a slacker. Enjoy.

In-Progress Critique Blog Post

1. I think that the strengths of this animation may lie in the use of color and how I use it to highlight important objects via contrast. For example, I used a cooler and darker color scheme throughout the setting in order to create a more soothing atmosphere. However, the use of red with Santa and the book on the elf's bed signified to the audience that they are important parts of the scene and help to enhance them, as well as giving the eyes resting points from all the blues and greens. I also received comments on the lighting and how it works well to make it look like the scene takes place at night. 2. I feel like I could shift the lighting around a little so the lamp is brighter; one of my classmates mistook the book on the elf's bed for a box, so having more lighting there will help to show that it is, indeed, a book. Additionally, another one of my classmates called the scene a hallway when I want it to look more like a wide room, so I feel like adding more minor objec...
